Hemp is fully biodegradable and is one of the most sustainable fabrics available. Did you know that it was first spun into fabric over 50,000 years ago?
The hemp plant is a renewable resource. Needing very little water to grow (often can rely on rainwater alone) and actually improves soil quality, as it returns 70% of nutrients to the soil (cotton plants deplete the soil of nutrients). Hemp grows exceptionally fast, no matter the weather conditions, and is naturally insect and weed resistant. Meaning there is no need for pesticides, fertilizers, or other chemicals
Our hemp linen had a short life of up to 3mths. We have rescued it and sanitary cleaned it to ensure that it is as good as new.
Our reclaimed hemp linen will soften with age and over time will adopt a vintage look and hand feel offering comfort and dependability.
Embrace the future of circular economy by purchasing our reclaimed linen. Let’s keep good quality fabric out of landfill and reduce our carbon footprint.
